Today was the first day of the 2-day event and I was late getting there. I walked in BPL-Central just after 2 p.m. and the event closed up at 3 p.m. So I know I missed some authors and other folks.

But I did snap a few quick pictures…

It was fun meeting all of the authors and visiting with them for a little bit. It’s not very often that one gets the chance to chat with someone so vested and interested in something. And that’s one common thread I noticed among the handful I got to speak with, they all firmly believe in the power of books and what they’ve written.

The event continues tomorrow as well 11 a.m.-3 p.m. I suggest you go sooner than later!
