Junking up the Site
Over in the right-hand column you’ll see “bugs” for Google and Frappr. As best as I can tell they’re both working fine. Go ahead and click the Google link and add us to your Google calendar. If you don’t have one, check it out. I was impressed and I know you will be. We’ll make sure we keep it updated every other day.
Feel free to add stores, publishers and libraries to Frappr. Add yourself as well, if you feel so inclined. You can post pics there of bookstore stuff. Soon (hopefully) we’ll have the Flickr pics streaming in as well.

Pynchon’s New Novel
Gravity’s Rainbow author, Thomas Pynchon’s new book will be out in December. reports say that it weighs in at 900 pages!

A Book in a Bog
A construction worker in Ireland found a 1,200 year old vellum copy of the Book of Psalms. A neat find indeed. But my favorite find is this quote from a museum in Ireland “[This book is] …the greatest find ever from a European bog.” Let’s hear it for those European bogs!
