Score!

We made our way to St. Augustine, Florida recently. If you ever find yourself traveling down I-75S, keep an eye out for the yellow signs…

It was fantastic! No book over $3? Yes, it’s true. I’d say 90% of the books are ex-library books, but it seems they have a pretty good screening process. My finds’ spines all crack like they’ve never been open. Nothing wrong there. But be warned… 99 cent books add up fast!

Plus, all the proceeds go to fund cancer research.

And if you happen to make your way into St. Augustine (the oldest continually occupied city in the country) and the city isn’t flooded (which happened two of the three days were were there. It’s only 5 ft. above sea level), make sure to check out Anastasia Books and Bouvier Maps & Prints.

  1. Sweet! I’ve been to St. Augustine, but that was in 2004 and I don’t remember any signs. But I may have been too engrossed in my first reading of One Hundred Years of Solitude at that time to notice…
