About {head}:sub/head

I know… just what the blogosphere needs… another lit blog. But we can all relax, because I barley know enough for this to be called a “lit blog”. If you find anything resembling literary theory or discussion of story structure, I’ll be as surprised as you.

I am Director of Digital Products for a book publisher. I am helping books make the transition into a truly digital age and I am doing my best to help them create totally new products and forms. But basically, I’m a fan. A fan of books, fiction and non-fiction. It’s the whole reason I “got into” publishing. I read as much and often as I can. So that’s what {head}:sub/head is. A book/publishing fan blog. My friends and I trade “books to read” so often, that I thought it’d be fun to focus some of that energy and put the discussion out there for everyone.

And since Birmingham, Alabama is my backyard, I’ll post and keep up with as much as I can in and around town.
